Many folks now read e-books, such as the free ones on the Alaska Digital Library (“Libby”), an app available through Kenny Lake Public Library. Yet there are some books that cannot be accessed that way, and this is where a visit to your local library can open new horizons for you. This is particularly true of books about Alaska. Here are just some of the worthwhile selections:
The Copper Spike, by Lone E. Janson.
In the Shadows of Mountains: Ahtna Stories from the Copper River, by John. E. Smelcer
Mudhole Smith: Alaskan Flier, by Lone Janson.
The Quest for Dall Sheep, by Jack Wilson.
