Margaret Marie Davis (Scott) was born on February 28, 1942 in North Hollywood, California. She graduated from Antelope Valley High School in Lancaster, California. In 1961, she met and married Henry Lee Scott and they had their first daughter, Carrie Lee.
In 1962, together, they packed up and drove their young family north on the Alaska Highway and became pioneers in a remote area of the Last Frontier. In 2015, she moved back to the desert life she enjoyed and settled in Silver City New Mexico. Here she busied herself with volunteer work until her health prevented it.
