With heavy hearts we say farewell to our beloved Harriet Alberta Willa Kohlmann.
Born in 1951, the youngest child of three daughters, Harriet has always been inquisitive, quick witted, motivated and self reliant. Harriet grew up in Alaska after her family moved here from North Dakota and was a true Alaskan, loving it for all it offers. She could fix about anything and her mind was like an encyclopedia. Need to phone a friend, call Harriet. She owned several businesses in her lifetime and was a gifted artist. Her most creative endeavors were her stained glass and Alaskan themed jewelry. She worked harder than most and was known for helping others. She was a hunter and a gatherer and mastered everything she set her sights on. A free spirit born in a finite world and her favorite saying was "Oh, well".
She will be forever missed and wished to be again. Someone gone to fast and far less recognized than she deserved. Thank you for your life, for all you gave. We love you.
